Can you recall when I was planning my trip to Nepal, I made mention of a flight that lands up high within the rugged mountains of Nepal, at a place named Lukla - onto a very short sloping runway, with a big drop at one end, and a big cliff bank at the other...

Just wanted to write about my past two weeks of joy, and sorrow.

The first week I took pleasure in attending a University Contact Course for my Creative Writing extramural study course. It was amazing, soem great poeple, great lectures and it certainly cemented the course content to date. I was on a natural high after, then the next day I headed off to Auckland to surprise my daughters. I haven't been able to afford to travel since the last time I saw them (Xmas 2004), but...

Earth Quake in NZ today?

Early this morning on the TV news I heard that there was a medium sized earthquake in southern NZ today or maybe it was yesterday there. Did anyone get hurt or was there much dammage? There is another big story on the news here in the USA so I can't find anything on the quake.

Photoshop Question for anyone

Saffy or anyone else can answer this. I am thinking of getting Adobe Photoshop CSS3 when I buy a new computer next year (that is if this one makes it till January). What are the system requirements for Photoshop? I looked on the Adobe Photoshop website but could not find the answer. I plan on getting Vista Home Premium. Will it be compatible with that OS?

I found out earlier today that my favorite graphics program doesn't seem to be ready for Vista. The systems...

I can't believe how many photos I've got from Nepal. I've edited over 800 (tossed a few, but perhaps not so many) and putting them into a slide show. The programme sets them automatically at an average of 3 secs for each picture, with a couple of second inbetween each one to allow for the next picture to fade in.

Putting them all in, the slideshow is showing as 30 minutes long! Jeepers, trying to edit some out, as that could be a tad long for people to look at my...
